Wrangler originally pioneered this non-directional weaving technique to prevent "leg twist,"
a common issue where the side seams of jeans shift and twist toward the front of the leg after washing
Instead of a continuous diagonal line running strictly to the left or right
(like standard left-hand or right-hand twills), a broken twill alternates direction
every couple of warp yarns to form a subtle zigzag or chevron pattern.
