WWII USN (US Navy) N-1 Deck Jacket.
Back is painted with VPB 108. This was a USN Patrol Squadron flying PB4Y Liberator's and Privateer's.
A storied and battle-tested squadron of note who took part in the flyover as a show of strength in conjunction with the formal Japanese surrender ceremonies held aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, Japan Sept.2/45.
Bedford cord aka Jungle Cloth self/body with an Alpaca pile lining and collar.
Knit storm cuffs.
Draw cord hem.
Leather reinforced/repaired cuff hem and pocket welts.
