Description
KH “KING LOU” short sleeved loop collar shirt. Made up in 2 types of natural indigo dyed cottons from the Kuroki mill in Osaka, Japan. The body and sleeves are a yarn/yarn indigo dyed pique cloth woven on a Dobby loom. The collar, yoke and pocket are a yarn/yarn natural indigo dyed cotton poplin woven on a shuttle loom. Very reminiscent of antique Boro cloth. Both have a blue line white selvage. Double button side vents. Vintage buttons. Japanese herringbone soutashe loop collar closure. Flatfelled double needle chainstitch and single needle lock stitch construction throughout.
