Custom Design and Manufacturing

We’ve always offered custom manufacturing but since combining our shop and studio it’s made it much easier to work with clients and give them exactly what they’re looking for or in some cases to help them articulate what it exactly is they have in their minds eye.

Cool bunch of custom KH “Greenoch” Anoraks we did last year for Himesh Patel’s Jeevan/Dr. Eleven character in the amazing Apple TV series Station Eleven. Made with vintage/deadstock 60/40 fabric.

From viewing  actual finished garments/samples to trying on different garments to determine size and fit or too selecting  the right fabrics and notions. Having all of these things under one roof is very advantageous.  Whether it’s making a Klaxon Howl design from past collections that we have no plans of remaking or it’s your favourite  current KH piece but made up in an alternative fabric with some small changes we can offer both.

These types of small alterations may include such things as changes to sleeve or inseam  length or fit within the bodice such as chest, shoulder, neck etc. Different pocket designs/ configurations or none tab all. Collar shape and design. Or if you have an idea or example of something you’d like reproduced we can build it from the ground up as we done for many film and television productions.. From pattern to fit sample to finished garment.  You name it we can do it. We frequently get requests to up-cycle unique vintage garments and or objects such as old military pieces, tents, blankets/quilts etc and turn them into wearable garments. Or if that’s not your thing you can select fabrics from within our in stock inventory. Whichever you chose the results  are unique, one of a kind, made to measure pieces. I liken it to an open concept kitchen within a restaurant but where you pick the ingredients and how it’s prepared. You can see our products being made before your eyes.  Something that is rarely experienced within todays clothing retail/shopping landscape.
